Whether you are tired of constantly putting pressure on yourself to have everything in order and done exceptionally well, grappling with questions about the purpose and meaning of your existence, feeling conflicted with navigating between your dual heritage and the expectations of others, or simply struggling to trust that you are, in fact, enough… then this is the place for you. My name is Van Bui and I’m a California-based psychotherapist specializing in providing culturally responsive and depth-oriented care. Helping you experience more joy, gratitude, and connection by (re)discovering your meaning and purpose in life is at the heart of my clinical practice.
I help adult individuals harness the courage to put themselves first by unlearning and reframing the messages that society, culture, or family may have told them about who they should be. With new insight, I help you find peace in making yourself a priority, embrace your authentic identity by integrating the different parts of your world that matter most to you, (re)discover your life’s purpose and meaning, and feel empowered to make choices that align with your life values.
